A little primrose plant in bloom in sunlight on a hand painted dish. I managed to keep it flowering all summer in the kitchen window. I finally over-watered it and now it's finished.

I finally got around to painting the flower I saw floating on the pond at the New York Botanical Garden. It had been too many years since my last visit. What a beautiful oasis right in the middle of the Bronx.
